Rocco holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University. His graduate studies focused on microstructure/property relationships of metallic biomaterials used in artificial implants. Following his PhD, he also did a one-year postdoctoral fellowship with General Motors while working on Magnesium alloys as a light weight alternative for auto body applications. As a licensed engineer, Rocco is a highly skilled and results-oriented professional with 16 years experience in the field of landing gear design, manufacturing and testing. His heavy involvement in resolving component failures and defect analysis in order to mitigate potential failures is what drew him to pursue a career in forensic investigations. He has a proven ability to assess and manage complex situations and is viewed by his colleagues as a strong trouble shooter. Don’t let his academic credentials fool you because he is not afraid to get his hands dirty in order to obtain the necessary answers. Getting to the root of the problem is what drives him.
