Roar is very excited to welcome Ashley Miller to our team! Ashley is a detail-oriented and analytical worker with valuable experience in a range of environmental, hazardous material, and occupational health and safety projects. Here are some questions we asked her to get to know her a little better:
Q – Tell us a bit about yourself: Where are you from? What are your interests and hobbies?
A – I am from St. Marys, Ontario. It is a small, small town close to London. If you are a big baseball fan you may have heard of it, as it is the home of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. In my spare time I like to travel the GTA looking for great hiking spots with my dog, go camping, scuba dive, and explore.
Q – Where did you choose to study engineering?
A – I did not study engineering! My fascination with the natural world led me to complete my bachelor degree in Environment and Resource Studies at the University in Waterloo. I then continued my studies in Aquatic Ecology, earning my M.Sc.
Q -What made you choose Roar, and what do you look forward to the most in your job?
A – I chose Roar for the diverse and interesting environmental projects.
Q -What’s your favourite vacation spot?
A – I’m still searching for my favorite spot! But of all the places I’ve travelled so far Italy is one of my favorites.
Q – A quote you live by?
The only constant in life is change – Heraclitus
