Roar is very excited to welcome Danielle De Rango to our team! Danielle is a hardworking, detail-oriented problem solver who is excited to be a part of Roar’s Materials and Metallurgical team. Here are some questions we asked her to get to know her a little better:
Q – Tell us a bit about yourself: Where are you from? What are your interests and hobbies?
A – I was born in Toronto and raised nearby in Oakville. In my free time I enjoy reading a good book with a large cup of tea, knitting, and traveling to new places to experience other cultures.
Q – Why did you choose to study engineering?
A – Growing up, I have always loved math and science. Engineering allowed me to study what I enjoyed and apply math and science to real-world problems. Engineering also run in the family – my father is a mechanical engineer!
Q -What made you choose Roar, and what do you look forward to the most in your job?
A – Working in the field of forensic engineering has been a goal of my since I first learned about the field. So you can say that Roar Engineering has made one of my dreams come true! I look forward to continuous learning, improving my problem solving skills and broadening the scope of my expertise while earning my P.Eng. designation.
Q -What’s your favourite vacation spot?
A – Being by the water – either a cottage on a lake or a beach by the ocean.
