Roar is very excited to welcome Gregory Doroszkiewicz to our team! Greg is a Professional Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, including time spent in research and development, contract administration, and structural design. Here are some questions we asked him to get to know him a little better:
Q – Tell us a bit about yourself: Where are you from? What are your interests and hobbies?
A – I was born and raised in Ottawa, where I also started my career. I then worked in Kingston briefly before landing in the GTA. In my spare time I enjoy anything outdoors whether it be hiking up mountains, back country camping, canoeing or all of the above.
Q – Why did you choose to study engineering?
A – At a young age I was very enthusiastic about maths and physics, so when it came time to choose a field of study structural engineering felt the most natural. I enjoy the process of taking theoretical concepts and applying them to practical solutions.
Q -What made you choose Roar, and what do you look forward to the most in your job?
A – Roar Engineering to me meant a new and exciting way to apply my experience and challenge myself. Everyday I look forward to the diversity in the projects that I have the opportunity to be a part of.
Q -What’s your favourite vacation spot?
A – My favourite vacation spot has got to be the Adirondack Mountain High Peaks Wilderness Area.
Q – A quote you live by?
“Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts” – Winston Churchill
